The story began when our co-founder Kubra was living between Athens and Istanbul, always on the move and in need of a handbag that could keep up. She wanted a piece that was stylish and durable, with all the elegance of leather but none of the cruelty. After looking around, she realized the options were limited.

Her background in sustainability sparked Kubra to take a different path. Drawing inspiration from the olive tree, which is an integral part of her everyday life in Greece, she set out to work with olive leather and combine it with the centuries-old leather craftsmanship of Türkiye. This idea became the foundation of a new brand.

Months of searching, planning, creating, and dreaming followed, and Owlish Studio came to life. A handbag and accessories label that blends bold aesthetics, next-generation vegan materials, and the mastery of skilled artisans. A brand rooted in responsibility, choosing to live with respect for the planet, society, and animals, without compromise.

Our story continues with the same vision: to unite style and sustainability. Today, Owlish Studio products are made not only with olive leather but with other alternatives, reflecting our constant pursuit of elegant and future-friendly designs. We remain committed to innovative materials, handcrafted quality, and pieces that make a statement.
